Aviva zero car insurance

Aviva zero car insurance is an option if you’re looking to be more eco-friendly with your driving.

When you give your mileage and vehicle, they’ll calculate your carbon emissions from either driving or charging your vehicle and offset the first 1,000 miles. If you choose to offset 50% of the remaining miles, they’ll match it.

Aviva zero is an online only policy.

Aviva electric vehicle (EV) car insurance

As well as the items detailed above, the EV specific car insurance also covers you for running out of charge when you’re on the go. You’ll get picked up by the RAC who will either charge your battery or get you to a charge point. If you’re worried about running out of charge or have range anxiety, this cover would be a good choice. It also includes cover for accessories, such as charging cables and wall boxes.

Multicar cover

With Multicar cover, you can register up to 5 vehicles at your address and save 10% for each vehicle you add to your policy. You’ll benefit from these savings, alongside easier admin by aligning the renewal dates of the vehicles in your household.

You can take out this policy for multiple vehicles when you sign up or add vehicles to your existing policy. This product is available as Comprehensive, or Third party, fire and theft.

Telematics car insurance

They also offer Telematics car insurance, underwritten by General Accident. The Telematics policy is only available for young drivers aged 17-24.

Safer young drivers can pay less at renewal if they are deemed to be safer drivers. You receive an upfront telematics price at purchase, then your driving is tracked throughout the next year, possibly resulting in a reduced premium if your driving is viewed as safe. With their free app, you can view your score and tips to improve your driving.
